UPDATE: Pottawatomi Co. law enforcement still looking for suspect in alleged machete attack. Did a debriefing at a nearby church around 3 a.m. They decided that on duty officers of course would stay out but did have some volunteers saying they would look until daylight. @NEWS9 pic.twitter.com/gX3YcVRnN4

The search began around 9:30 p.m. Thursday night. Law enforcement said when they got to the house they found the suspect's stepson with a deep cut on his head and shoulder.
Officials believe Logan may have been drunk and said he used one or two machetes in the attack. Afterwards, they said Logan took off into the woods.
The Pottawatomie County Sheriff said this isn't their first interaction with suspect this week.
