Tulsa firefighters discovered three people dead inside a house Sunday morning. The Tulsa Fire Department says firefighters were dispatched to a house fire in the 600 block of East Seminole Place shortly before 5:00 a.m.
The bodies were so badly burned in the fire, police say it's hard to tell who they are and how they died.
"It's hard to say. Obviously, the ME is going to have to look at the bodies in the front room. I don't know what the condition is there," said TPD Homicide Sgt. Brandon Watkins.
Sgt. Watkins says they know a man lost his life, and possibly a young girl. Rayna Davis lives across the street and says two men live in the home.
"This is out of control. It just makes no sense. These guys are peaceful people. They just went to work and came home. They didn't cause any trouble," said Davis.
Police believe the fire was set intentionally and you can clearly see most of the damage is to the front of the house. Officers say the man found in the back of the house wasn't burned as badly as the others, and they may know who he is, but aren't certain.
"Sounds like just a good dude that worked hard. Worked at his job and that's all he kind of did," said Sgt. Watkins.
Friends and concerned neighbors surrounded the crime scene filled with emotions about the loss of three lives.
"They were so young. They're kind. Help-you-with-your-groceries kind of guys. I mean, very respectful," said Davis. "Just pray for the family. Because this is such a loss. It's really sad."
