Chicken And Waffles On A Stick

10 chicken strips, pre-cooked
3 1/2 cups Pancake/Waffle mix
1 1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla or vanilla paste
1 egg
Nonstick cooking spray
Wooden skewers
syrup

Preheat the waffle iron.
In a medium bowl, mix together the waffle dry mix, milk, egg and vanilla till smooth.
Place a skewer in the middle of each chicken strip.
Open the waffle iron and set the chicken strip in the middle of the waffle iron and poor waffle batter over the top.
Put the waffle iron lid down and cook till it is done.
Remove from the waffle iron and serve with syrup.
