The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals granted a new trial for a woman previously convicted of murdering her 14-month-old stepson.

Broken Arrow Woman Charged In Toddler's Death

A jury found Shiloh Brafford guilty in the 2008 death of her stepson, Davis. Prosecutors say she violently shook him and slammed his head against a hard object.

But with the help of the Innocence Project, the Defense called several doctors who testified that Davis had pre-existing conditions that could have made it possible for him to die from a minor fall.

Convicted Tulsa Baby Killer May Get Second Trial

There is no date for Brafford’s new trial.
