News On 6 confirms a Beggs woman charged with shooting and killing two of her children, attempted suicide in her jail cell.
Investigators say Amy Hall is in a Tulsa hospital in serious condition, as of Friday afternoon.
Hall is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of shooting with intent to kill. Police said she shot her children Kayson and Kloee in the head, killing them. They said she also shot at her younger daughter, Nikole, who survived.
The Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office said they can't give many details about what happened, but they still hope to see justice in the case.
"We want the system to run as smoothly as possible and for her to have her day in court," Investigator Aaron Swayze said.
"With an attempt like this, it could take the court process out of it. And that's not fair to anyone."
Hall has a court date set for later this month, but it is too soon to tell if that will be delayed.
