Lightning Strike To Blame For Church Fire In SW OKC

Fire officials confirmed that a lightning strike was to blame for a church fire in southwest Oklahoma City Saturday morning.

Crews were called to the Liberty Worship Center, located at 1200 SW 44th Street, at about 11:30 a.m.

Initial damage reports indicate that the church sustained quite a bit of water damage, but a lot of the church's equipment was salvaged.
