Oklahoma's seeing a downturn in the number of oil rigs currently in operation.
The Journal Record says there are 27% fewer rigs in operation now than at this time last year. Oilfield services company Baker Hughes says there are 102-oil rigs running in Oklahoma at this time.
The lower count comes as energy companies across the nation prioritize cash flow over increased production due to low oil prices.
