Jackie Brannon Inmate Captured After Lengthy Manhunt

An inmate is back in custody after an all-day manhunt.

Authorities say Christopher Jacobs walked out of the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center on Saturday around 10 am. Officials with the Department of Corrections said he was apprehended by law enforcement later Saturday evening.

Jacobs was serving a five-year sentence for grand larceny, second-degree burglary, false impersonation, possession of a stolen property and vehicle theft.
