1 Dead After NW OKC Shooting

One person is dead Saturday after a shooting in a northwest Oklahoma City.

One person is dead Saturday after a shooting in a northwest Oklahoma City.

The incident happened in the 300 block of NW 88th Street. Police found a gunshot victim at the scene. Officers have detained a person in connection with the shooting.

Right now officials still do not know the relationship between the shooter and the victim.

"We are being told some stories but some of them are inconsistent. So, we're going to wait and see what the investigation holds to know what occurred," said OKCPD Capt. Rod Strecker.
