The state health department released a report detailing hospital status, number of personal protective equipment on hand and status the first 30 COVID-19 deaths in the state.
The report was released on Wednesday, April 1.
In the report, the state health department disclosed the availability of hospital beds and ventilators.
As of Wednesday, 348 out of 899 ICU beds were still available; 2,549 out of 5,226 medical surgery beds were available; 450 out of 590 operating room beds were available; 322 out of 696 pediatric beds were available; and 50 out of 131 PICU beds were available.
As for ventilators, 816 out of 1,093 were available Wednesday. The health department had 132 ventilators on hand and 160 total ventilators circuits.
As of Wednesday, 498 out of 777 negative flow rooms were available.

The average of the first 30 deceased patients was 70.7. About 70% of the deceased had at least one comorbidity (diabetes, heart disease or circulatory disease, chronic lung disease, liver disease and/or renal failure).
