Del City Officer Taken To Hospital After Altercation With Suspect

<p>A Del City police officer was attacked by a prisoner while transporting that prisoner in the area near NW 10th and I-44 Friday evening. The officer was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition. The prisoner is now in custody of the Oklahoma City Police.</p>

Del City Officer Taken To Hospital After Altercation With Suspect

A Del City police officer was attacked by a prisoner while transporting that prisoner to the Oklahoma County Jail. The attack occurred in the area near NW 10th and I-44 Friday evening.

The officer was taken to the hospital minor non-life-threatening injuries and has since been released.

The suspect was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Upon release, his journey to the Oklahoma County Jail was completed.
