'Submerged Vehicle' Report Turns Up Tire In Oklahoma River

<p>Emergency crews were called in to investigate reports of a submerged vehicle in the Oklahoma River, just west of Bricktown, Wednesday evening.</p>

Emergency crews were called in to investigate reports of a submerged vehicle in the Oklahoma River, just west of Bricktown, Wednesday evening.

First responders were called out to the scene just to the west of the Exchange Avenue bridge. Crews with the Oklahoma City Fire Department deployed a boat to investigate, and discovered the object was a single tire floating upright in the river.

No injuries were reported. It is unclear how the tire ended up in the water.
