Authorities: Body With Multiple Gunshot Wounds Found Near Stroud

Authorities are investigating after a body with multiple gunshot wounds was found Friday morning near Stroud, Oklahoma.

According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a 911 call at about 10 a.m. about a body that was found near a car on County Road 3530, six miles north of Stroud.

Deputies arrived and found a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The Sheriff said the victim had been there overnight.

The District Attorney’s crime task force is assisting deputies with this homicide investigation.
