A small earthquake was recorded near Enid, Oklahoma Sunday morning.
A 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 7:00 a.m. Its epicenter was located eight miles east of Enid, 37 miles north, northwest of Guthrie, and 40 miles west, northwest of Stillwater.
It was under a mile deep.
At this time, no one has reported any damages or injuries associated with this earthquake.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with earthquakes at magnitudes of 4.0 or higher.
