An Oklahoma City auto parts store is kicking off its “re-grand opening” by giving back and collecting canned food for the Food For Kids campaign.

The NAPA auto parts store, located in the 300 block of E. Memorial Rd. in NW OKC, will host the event on Sat. Dec. 12. On top of planned sales specials, the store’s goal is to fill a NAPA trailer with canned foods.

Other events include prize giveaways, NASCAR simulator, Ron Capps’ NAPA Funny Car, The Chase Elliot #9 car, the NAPA rock and roll tool trailer and an appearance by the Oklahoma City Thunder Girls.

Donation of non-perishable food items is appreciated but not required to attend. There will also be face painting and a bounce house for children.
