The town of Washington in McClain County will celebrate a milestone Thursday night. Nearly three years ago, Rocky Beller and his cousin Scott died in a small plane crash in Chickasha.
Thursday night, the “Beller Foundation” will formally dedicate a 34,000 square foot multipurpose facility to Washington High School. It will be in Rocky and Scott Beller's names.

The Beller cousins both attended the school, and Rocky Beller's son, Brad, is Washington's head football coach.
“For a small school like we are, it really has given us an opportunity like dad and Scott wanted Washington to have,” Beller said during football practice Tuesday afternoon.
Athletic Director Stuart McPherson said the $4.5 million facility cost only about half that because of an incredible amount of donations and labor.
“We want as many people to be able to use this facility as we can,” he said.
