The United States Geological Survey reported an earthquake in Woods County, Sunday afternoon.

A 3.4 magnitude quake was reported at 1:23 p.m., 13 miles east, northeast of Mooreland and 22 miles east, northeast of Woodward. The depth was over three miles, according to the USGS.

There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.

According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
