A photo posted on an OU Twitter account is raising a lot of eyebrows. It shows suspended football player Joe Mixon at a school pep rally Thursday night.
The photo was taken at the school's Rah! Rally in Norman and posted on the official OU Athletics Twitter account. You can see Mixon in the black shirt with red headphones.
A lot of people are demanding to know why he was there. Mixon was suspended for the entire season after allegedly punching a woman inside a Norman restaurant in July.

A statement released by OU said Mixon "will be excluded from all team activities including being removed from the team roster."
After the photo surfaced online, some fans expressed their anger.
Stephen Beam wrote "Sloppy execution on @OU_Athletics part to have Mixon in attendance, whether he was allowed or not, and then snap picture of him at rally."
Jason Kersey said, "This isn't complicated, folks. Joe Mixon is suspended from team activities for punching a woman. He participated in one tonight. That's news."

A school spokesman told the OU Daily newspaper that Mixon was allowed to be at the rally because it is a "voluntary student event."
Mixon's next appearance is court is set for September 23.
