It's been a tragic weekend in Oklahoma. Two people drowned in separate parts of the state.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 58-year-old Bruce Mullen of Marlow drowned in a farm pond east of Rush Springs Monday evening.
Troopers said Mullen, who was legally blind, was operating a water craft when he struck a fence that stretched across the pond, and was knocked off the water craft. His body was later found in the bottom of the pond.
Mullen was not wearing a life jacket.
An Oklahoma City man drowned at Lake Murray in Carter County. The OHP dive teams recovered the body of 32-year-old Eduardo Luna early Monday morning just 125 feet from shore.

Troopers said Luna drowned while trying to rescue his wife and child from deep water.
The Army Corps of Engineers says this goes to show swimmers and boaters should always wear a life jacket.
