An intoxicated man was arrested after a deputy caught him in the act of a burglary on Saturday in Harrah, according to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's office.
Harrah police contacted the Sheriff's office after receiving a phone call of a suspicious man walking along Dobbs Road near S.E. 15th Street.
When the deputy arrived at the scene, he saw the man, later identified as 32-year-old Dusty Lee Hill, inside a pickup truck parked in front of a home in the 1400 block of S. Dobbs. The deputy said Hill appeared to be drunk.
The owner of the house told the deputy that he didn't know Hill, and that Hill did not have permission to be inside his truck, according to the Sheriff's office.
The deputy said he found several items in Hill's possession, which Hill admitted were not his. He also admitted to the deputy that he had burglarized other properties nearby. The deputy found another vehicle and a house which appeared to have been burglarized by Hill.
Hill was then arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on charges of second degree burglary, larceny from an automobile and public drunkenness. He was booked on $8,500 bail and has since been released after posting bond.
