Some workers from Texas who has been clearing debris since May 22 in Moore say they've been robbed.

"Everything we got left is clothes," Says Lazarus Ramos.

Ramos and five other friends and family members traveled from Houston to volunteer their time clearing debris in Moore. They were using landscaping equipment like a bobcat to push debris to the street so it could be collected by city crews.

"We just do it from the kindness of our heart," says Ramos, who says he isn't getting any money from insurance companies to work.

Ramos and the others were staying at shelters to keep costs low as they volunteered their time. When the temporary shelter in Moore closed its doors, the men moved to a motel at I-35 and Grand Blvd.

On Wednesday morning, Ramos' pickup and trailer with the bobcat were stolen from the Studio 6 motel parking lot.

"It hurts me," says Ramos.

Ramos is hoping someone will recognize his green Ford 350 pickup with Texas plates and a big UT Longhorns' sticker on the tailgate and call police.

If you recognize the truck, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 235-7300.
