Last-Minute Shoppers Rush Malls In OKC

Time is running out for last-minute shoppers. As the clock ticks closer to Christmas day, crowds are flooding the malls.

For some, it can be a Christmas shopping nightmare. But for some, the last-minute shopping is a tradition they enjoy every year.

Penn Square Mall was jam-packed on Saturday. Finding a parking spot can be maddening.

Last-minute shoppers flood metro shops while some try to stay away from the packed area malls. Cars trying to get in and out of Penn Square mall backed up traffic and shoppers filled every parking spot. Many had to improvise.

For some people, it was all about avoiding the mall. But no matter where they seem to stop, they can't avoid the crowds, so it's best to have a plan.

The mall is open until 11 p.m. Saturday. So if you still have to pick up any last-minute gifts for anyone, you've still got time.

Penn Square open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday.

Quail Springs and Sooner Mall open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday.

The Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City opens 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday.
