Oklahoma State running back Joseph Randle has been named one of 10 semifinalists for the Doak Walker Award which honors the nation's top running rack.
The sophomore from Wichita, Kansas, has scored 20 touchdowns for the Cowboys through nine games this season and averages 101.7 rushing yards per game and 6.1 yards per carry.
Randle also has five 100-yard rushing games, and he leads the Big 12-and is second nationally in both scoring per game and touchdowns scored. He also ranks fourth nationally with 18 rushing touchdowns.
The only other Big 12 player on the semifinalists list is Henry Josey from Missouri.
Three finalists for the 2011 Doak Walker Award will be announced Monday, Nov. 21 and the winner will be announced live on ESPN's College Football Awards show on Thursday, Dec. 8 2011.
