Low pressure is spreading rain and isolated thunderstorms through southern sections of the northeastern U.S. and through the mid-Atlantic states. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are spreading south along a cold front into the southeastern U.S. Some of these storms will be strong to severe with large hail, damaging winds and possibly a few tornadoes. High pressure is spreading a mix of sun and clouds are spreading through the Great Lakes. A weakening frontal boundary is producing widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms through the High Plains from Montana to the panhandle of Texas. A little snow is falling through the central Rockies as well. Rain and snow showers are falling through the northern Rockies while rain showers are falling along the northern half of the Pacific coast.
