It was another tremendous day across the state after more early morning fog. Unfortunately, for all of you that love sunshine, the next several days won't feature much of it.
Overnight, temperatures fall into the 20s and 30s with light southeast winds while the clouds return to the state.
On Wednesday, expect a mostly cloudy day with highs in the low to mid-50s and light southeast winds. We'll have some drizzle around Wednesday as well.
The cloudy, drizzly days with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s will continue through the end of the work week into Saturday before our next big storm system arrives.
The way it looks right now, some heavy rain and storms will affect the state on Sunday. Exact timing and placement of the heaviest rain is still up in the air, but Sunday appears to be the day with the best chances. If the system slows down, some of that rain could spill into Monday as well.
Highs will drop early next week behind Sunday's system but only into the upper 40s and lower 50s.
