Police are looking for a man who reportedly stole more than $2,000 in cash from a northwest Oklahoma City car wash.
According to police, on Sunday, Feb. 16, officers responded to the report of a burglary at Red Carpet car wash, located at 6405 N. May. An employee told police that he came into his office and noticed the lock on the bottom drawer of his desk had been pried off.
The employee said the money inside that drawer was missing.
According to police, in a surveillance video, the suspect could be seen walking into the office through an unlocked door. He went directly for the locked drawer, and could been seen in the video stuffing something in his pants.
The suspect then opened a few more drawers and cabinets before leaving the office, according to police.
The employee said he did not recognize the suspect. The man got away with $2,750 in cash.
