Oklahoma Highway Patrol officers have the driver who led them on a high-speed chase throughout the city in custody. Turns out he was also wanted in Tulsa for impersonating an officer.

According to police, 33-year-old Barry Baker Jr. called the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and said he was suicidal. When troopers showed up at Baker's residence in the 3000 block of west Reno, the chase was on.

Police said Baker tried to run over an officer as he put out the stop sticks. The pursuit continued near N.W. 44th St. and Western Ave. Baker continued to drive even with the tires flattened by the stop sticks.

He was finally captured at I-44 and Western Avenue. At least 27 police cars responded to the pursuit.
