A Burlington North Santa Fe train derailed in a Tulsa neighborhood Monday night.
The company said the freight train derailed at about 11 p.m. near Tecumseh and North Fulton Avenue. BNSF says three cars carrying coal and two locomotives were involved.
No one was hurt.
The railroad brought in heavy equipment to clear the wrecked cars and get the locomotives back on the tracks. It said it didn't know how long the process would take.
The cause of the derailment remains under investigation.
