IC Bus Plant Temporarily Suspends Operation Due To COVID-19

The IC Bus plant has temporarily suspended its operations due to COVID-19.

Navistar, the parent company of IC Bus, said the company is covering the cost of COVID-19 testing for all plant employees.

Officials said operations were suspended to deep clean the plant. Navistar officials said the plant has had multiple safety protocols in place to protect employees' health, such as "increased facility cleaning, sanitation stations, mandatory temperature screenings, symptom monitoring, and contact tracing."

Officials also said they have provided PPE and have continued to encourage social distancing.
