Morning rain and storms will continue to push to the southeast in Oklahoma Tuesday.

Look for mostly sunny skies Tuesday afternoon and highs in the upper 80s. Winds will remain light out of the north.

Tuesday afternoon a boundary will be stalled in the southeast. This will likely be the focal point for additional storms in the evening.

Wednesday looks mostly sunny until late in the day. Highs will climb into the 80s and low 90s.

Storms will be possible in far northern Oklahoma in the evening. Those storms could produce quarter size hail and winds to 60 mph. Trackers will be out.

By late Wednesday evening, the Saharan dust plume will arrive in southern Oklahoma. You will notice a hazy sky. This happens every year, but this round looks to be longer lasting. Impacts to Oklahoma through next week will likely be vivid sunrise and sunsets, limited visibility, and potentially poor air quality. The dust does bring very beneficial nutrients to the soil.
