2 Dead, 3 In Serious Condition After Head-On Crash In Jefferson Co.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers say two people are dead and three others are in serious condition Friday morning after a head-on crash in Jefferson County.

According to OHP, Kristi Dennard-Goolsby was traveling north on Highway 81 when she tried to pass two cars in front of her. She hit another driver, Charlsie Currie, head-on.

Currie and one of her five passengers, a 5-year-old child, died at the scene.

Goolsby and two passengers from the second car are in serious condition.
