According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the suspect in a deadly wrong-way accident is now facing second-degree murder and felony DUI charges.

Troopers said Malcolm Penney hit and killed 19-year-old Marissa Murrow on the Kilpatrick Turnpike early Saturday morning. In a post on Facebook, OHP said Penney ran from the scene originally but was later caught.

He is being held in Canadian County on a $400,000 bond.

Troopers are now asking anyone with information on where Penney was before the collision to give them a call.

News 9 found at least one other DUI in Oklahoma listed under Penney's name and also another guilty plea for being publicly drunk.

Marissa Murrow's family and friends are mourning her loss.

The UCO chapter of Sigma Kappa posted a tribute describing Murrow, and the impact she had on their sorority.

"A piece of our hearts left when Marissa did. Our chapter will never be the same- a light is missing from this house," the post said. "Marissa was the kind of person everyone strives to be. Your go to girl for advice, who always listened without judgement and always showed you kindness."

In less than 48 hours, a GoFundMe for Murrow's family has raised over $19,500.

Anyone with any information on where Penney was is asked to call OHP at 405-425-2323.
