President Donald J. Trump is projected to win Oklahoma’s electoral votes for the race for the U.S. presidency.

The projection comes after a day of long lines at polling sites across the state and a record-breaking number of mail-in ballots and early votes.

According to unofficial vote totals, Trump won 65% of the vote while Democratic challenger and former Vice President Joe Biden won 32%.

More than 2% of the vote went to Libertarian Jo Jorgensen and three independent candidates including rapper Kanye West.

So far, Trump is projected to win several states including Oklahoma, Ohio, Florida, Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, Idaho, Utah, Montana and Wyoming, according to the Associated Press.

Biden is projected to win several states including California, Washington, Oregon, Virginia, Minnesota, New York, Vermont and Massachusetts, according to Associated Press.

Biden managed to win the heavily-needed states of Michigan and Wisconsin, the Associated Press projected Wednesday afternoon.

Four states are too close to call as of Wednesday morning. Election officials in Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina and Nevada have said it could take days before a winner is declared for any of these states as they continue counting votes.

Neither Trump nor Biden have reached the 270 electoral college votes necessary to win the presidential election. Biden is closer and only needs Nevada to win the secure the necessary votes for the presidency.
