As the Thanksgiving holiday looms a week from Thursday, Holt urged residents to take the next 10 days seriously in terms of curbing the spread of COVID-19.

Holt called upon pastors and other faith leaders to communicate the importance of taking precautions in order to slow the spread.

The mayor also said that local businesses, if possible, have the authorization to transition to working from home in lieu of coming into an office.
