Ronald Reagan Elementary School is on lockdown as a result of a manhunt underway in Norman.

The suspect was being pursued by Norman police before the manhunt began.

Authorities said the suspect is a male who was first spotted near the intersection of East Lindsey Street and 24th Avenue Southeast.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is assisting with the search in the air.
