State troopers are on the scene of a collision involving a Broken Arrow ambulance on I-44 Monday evening.

I-44 is now open after a collision involving a Broken Arrow ambulance on I-44 Monday evening, state troopers said.

Troopers said the accident happened on westbound I-44 just east of Yale in Tulsa. Westbound lanes were closed starting at 6:45 p.m. Monday for crews to clean up the debris and reopened around 9 p.m.

Footage shows a black Chevy truck with significant damage to the front, but not much visible damage to the ambulance.

Troopers said at least one person was injured, but no further details have been released yet.
