An Oklahoma man is sentenced to a week in jail for running unauthorized tours at Yellowstone National Park and violating park rules.

The Department of Justice says 60-year-old Theodore Garland from Edmond was breaking national park rules about swimming, cliff jumping, and disturbing wildlife with his tours. Prosecutors say he was also encouraging visitors to break those rules.

Garland also had to pay a $600 fine and is banned from the park through the end of the year.
