A man accused of attempted robbery was killed Monday night in Bricktown, Oklahoma City police said.
Officers were called shortly before 10 p.m. Monday to the Harkins Theatre, 150 E Reno Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found Travis Prince, 22, had been shot.
While investigating, officers said Prince was accused of pointing a firearm at 36-year-old Christopher Cooper in attempt to rob Cooper.
Cooper said he produced a firearm and fired multiple rounds and hit Prince. Prince died at the scene.
Police said this is an open investigation.
Cooper was not taken into custody and the Oklahoma County district attorney will determine if charges will be filed.
