A cross-county, high-speed chase ended in gunfire Monday night, and now, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents are investigating.

Agents said the chaos started at a hotel in Anadarko.

About 9 p.m. Monday, Anadarko officers responded to a disturbance call at a local hotel.

They saw a man, woman and child in a car. The initial report from officers indicated the man was alone in the car when he drove off, and led officers on a chase into Grady County.

A total of five agencies pursued the suspect.

It ended when an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper performed a TVI maneuver that sent the suspect's car into a ditch near Lake Chickasha Road and County Street 2760.

Investigators said the woman and child were not injured and got out of the car.  The suspect, however, stayed in the vehicle and a brief standoff ensued.

One of the officers fired and hit the suspect.

Police haven't said which agency the officer belonged to or what the suspect's condition is.

His name has not yet been released. He was taken to a hospital after the standoff ended.
