Fire crews responded to a house fire near the 8100 block of NW 26th Street in Bethany on Friday morning.
According to the fire department, the fire started as an outbuilding fire.
The fire spread to the house but was contained to the attic, crews on the scene reported.
According to the fire department, power lines started breaking and popping due to the fire after being exposed to the heat.
Heavy fire was coming from the roof of the residence at one point, firefighters on the scene report.
A nearby residence had some minimal damage to its exterior, causing the fire department to evacuate nearby properties as they battled the flames.
OG&E reported the scene as safe for residents shortly after the fire was contained by firefighters.
A family of four was inside the home that caught fire, along with a dog that just had puppies, and all were able to make it out safely.
Families are back inside their homes, according to crews on the scene.
No injuries are being reported from the scene and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
