The Oklahoma State Cowgirl softball team is heading back to Oklahoma City!
The Cowgirls beat Clemson 5-1 on Friday night in Stillwater.
The scoring started with a wild pitch in the first inning that allowed Chelsea Alexander to score.
In the 2nd the Cowgirls opened up the game, scoring off some costly errors by the Tigers.
A homer by Karli Petty in the 5th inning gave the Cowgirls a 5-1 lead after the Tigers were able to find the plate on a 3rd inning homerun.
The fourth came to a close as pitcher Morgan Day was able to get out of a jam with two runners on.
After a pitching change, the Cowgirls were able to finish out the game without allowing another run.
The WCWS begins June 2.
