Oklahoma Officer Breaks Neck Slipping On Ice

Ada Police Captain, Casey Northcutt, is recovering after ice caused him to fall and break his neck. This happened during last week's icy weather.

Casey Northcutt is awake, but still has a hard time sitting up. He's had to undergo emergency surgery and fusion on his neck and spine.

While he has high hopes for recovery, full recovery remains in question, according to Northcutt's family.

Northcutt is described as a loving and devoted officer, husband, father and grandfather.
