14-Year-Old Identified After Being Hit, Killed By Train In Pauls Valley

A train hit a 14-year-old in Pauls Valley Tuesday afternoon on South Earl Street, according to police.

The police say that the 14-year-old, who has been identified as Dominic Agoston-Heath, was transported to Pauls Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The boy had been walking on the tracks after school when he was struck by the train, according to police.

Burlington Northern, the Pauls Valley Police Department, the Garvin County Sheriff's Office and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene, and are continuing to investigate.

Pauls Valley Public School is aware of the situation and will have extra counselors on-site for students and staff.
