The Tulsa Police Bomb Squad removed 10 explosive devices from a car at an auto shop near Admiral and Utica.

An employee noticed something suspicious when he went to work on the car and called for help, investigators said.

Officers were called to J&E Automotive around 4 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. The sidewalks around the shop were blocked off while the bomb squad and ATF agents arrived to investigate.

Investigators said the bomb squad removed 10 explosives without detonating them. Police have not released information on what kind of explosives they are.

Officers said the devices could have gone off, so they’re praising the decision from the employee who saw something and reported it.

“Anytime you see something that looks concerning, please call us and we can send an officer and quickly determine if it’s something that needs further scrutiny,” said Capt. Matt Arnold, Tulsa Police.

No arrests have been made but officers do know who owns the car. The ATF is taking over the investigation.
