Pedestrian Killed In Crash On Turner Turnpike; Suspected Vehicle Identified

A female pedestrian was hit and killed on the Turner Turnpike Sunday morning and authorities are searching for the driver responsible.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the pedestrian was struck in the eastbound lanes near Stroud at about 5 a.m.

Investigators believe the vehicle involved was a 2015-2019 Subaru Legacy with significant damage to the vehicle's undercarriage.

OHP is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information on the crash to call the Central Communications Center at 405-425-2323.

The victim's name has not been released.
