2 Injured In Wynnewood Oil Refinery Fire

Two people were injured after a fire broke out Tuesday morning at an oil refinery in Wynnewood.

The fire was located at Wynnewood Refining near Highway 77 and Powell Avenue.

Director of Garvin County Emergency Management David Johnson said the fire started at around 8:20 a.m.

Two employees were injured and transported to the hospital for evaluation.

All other employees have been accounted for, Johnson said.

The cause of the fire has been isolated, and an investigation is underway.
