The 2023 Women's College World Series is back in Oklahoma City this week, starting Thursday.
The (1) Sooners and (6) Cowgirls join Tennessee, Alabama, Stanford, Florida State, Washington and Utah as the final eight teams competing for a championship.
The Oklahoma Sooners are back in the WCWS after a dramatic final game in the Norman Super Regional.

OU took home their 48th-straight win on Saturday after defeating Clemson 8-7. The Sooners trailed by three and were down to their final strike, but a huge home run from Kinzie Hansen kept OU alive.

Oklahoma will now face off against Stanford at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 1 at the USA Softball Hall of Fame stadium in Oklahoma City.
The Oklahoma State Cowgirls are also on their way to Oklahoma City for the fourth-straight year.
The Cowgirls are headed to the Women's College World Series after going 2-and-11 in their final 13 regular season games, OSU turned it around with sweeps in the regional and super regional.
The Cowgirls are set to faceoff against Florida State at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 1.
