Update 9 p.m.: Power has been restored to the majority of customers in Del City Saturday night, according to the OG&E Outage Map.
At the peak, over 6,000 customers were without power for unknown reasons.
The City of Del City Facebook page has not yet commented on the restored power.

A power outage is impacting thousands of OG&E customers Saturday evening in Del City.
The City of Del City Facebook page acknowledged the outage at 7 p.m.
We are aware of the massive power outage in the City and have reached out to our contacts at OG&E to attempt to get an ETA on restoration. We will keep you all updated as more information becomes available.
At 7:30 p.m., the city said some of the outages are being fixed, but no ETA has been given for restoration.
7:34 update: Looks like power is starting to come back on in some affected areas. This gives us hope the entire city will be back on very soon!
There are nearly 5,000 OG&E customers in the Del City area without power, according to the Outage Map.
The outage ranges from I-35 out east toward the Tinker Air Force Base, north to SE 15th St., and south down to SE 59th St.
