Overnight, a cold front will sweep through, bringing a north wind and chillier air by Monday morning. Expect lows in the 40s and highs only reaching the low 50s Monday afternoon.
Temperatures will briefly rebound to the low 60s by Wednesday, but another cold front arrives Wednesday night. Thanksgiving will be the coldest day of the season so far, with highs in the 40s and a brisk north breeze. Overnight rain chances Wednesday into early Thursday are minimal, and Thanksgiving Day is expected to be mostly dry.
The colder pattern will persist through the end of the week, with highs remaining in the 40s and lows near freezing. Sunshine returns for Black Friday, but the chill will stick around into the weekend.
However, be aware that winds could pick up over the weekend, especially on Sunday, so keep that in mind if you have outdoor plans.
On Sunday, we're looking at another gorgeous day, with highs climbing to around 71°F. It’s going to be sunny with light south winds, making for an excellent day to get outside and enjoy the weather. Whether you're spending time with family or enjoying the outdoors, it’s going to feel like a perfect fall day.
Thanksgiving:
Right now, it looks like we’re in for some chilly but not freezing weather for Thanksgiving.
Highs will be in the low 50s, and there’s a slight chance of rain showers in the morning, with a few snow flurries possible along the Oklahoma-Kansas border.
It’s still early, so keep an eye on the forecast as we get closer to Turkey Day.
Prepare for one of the coldest air masses of the season by late next week, with highs staying well below average as another cold front moves in. Enjoy the warm weekend while it lasts!
