Weather Blog: Storms Likely Thursday, Slight Warmup For The Weekend

We are still expecting light rain later on Thursday, but the heaviest rain with a few thunderstorms will stay in southern Oklahoma.

What is the weather like on Thursday?

Right now, any severe threat looks to be in southeast Oklahoma with quarter-size hail and gusts to 60 mph possible.

Fog will likely redevelop overnight and into Friday morning. We will stay cloudy on Friday with a slight chance of isolated and light rain showers.

The temperature will likely stay in the low 50s today through Saturday.

Sunshine should return on Sunday with highs around 60

New Year's Eve and day still look colder with highs in the 40's.

Some data tries to bring in a wintry mix to the west metro on New Year's Day, but other data says we are completely dry.
